Gotham H (au) wrote: It's not amusing and Bill Murray's character is so stupid.the movie doesn't have good humor, has some problems in pacing and suffering from some silly situations, but it has funny special and a fresh idea which can make anyone have a good time while watching it.

Ca H (gb) wrote: The ending was hideously cheesy but the main part was actually pretty good: some really bland bits but some really funny bits and some genuinely touching bits. Felicity Jones was impossible to resist as a lead and completely won me over to enjoying this film much more than I expected to.
Bengel W (fr) wrote: Well it is nice to see Americans with dreams getting on. Working hard and being persistent and actually having talent means a pay check, to pay for all those drugs that you need to keep being persistent and working hard, comes across with a thump in this movie. So the perfect American lives hit the screen yet again, anyone with a gun and the scene would be complete. Nibbles: Snowballs.

Mischief and stupid screwball comedy ensues. At least In the Army Now tried to present itself as kind of a comedy, unlike Bio Dome or Jury Duty. It didn't do a very good job, as I only watched around 45 minutes of it and didn't laugh once. Then again, I expected this from a Pauly Shore film. Stay clear of this stinker.
Anthony H (mx) wrote: Saw this back in early spring of 1983 when it was in theaters as a kid and it terrified me. The movie is a bit slow paced but really picks up steam in the 3rd act if you stick with it. Hats of to the special effects artists that created the floating corpses and the film makers for the disturbing atmosphere.
