Bobby D (ag) wrote: OK. Campy title and is a re-creation of everything from Alien, Predator and Aliens Vs Predator with a Japanese rock n roll soundtrack and ninja twist. Should've been a lot of goofy fun. It wasn't. They obviosuly spent a lot of time on the "look" of the costumes but didn't actually bother to get someone(s) who could light and shoot the film to even ina small way match the poster. So what you get is ALL broad daylight action that reveals the Alien to be a hokey suit inspired by an alien-dolphin leather biker suit. The end plays for a sequel. I hope not.

Turtleboy G (us) wrote: This movie was promising to be really good, but ending up being boring. It would have been an awesome movie if more was going on. I mean, for as low budget as it was, the acting was good and you actually liked the characters. The only part that really wasn't that boring was the opening scene. After that though the movie just gets boring. I honestly feel like this could've been a short film and not a full length movie. Some may like this movie, but I thought it was just "alright."

It gets off to a somewhat promising start, but by the time you get to the end you'll wish Seagal would blow off your right leg from the knee down with a shotgun to distract you from the pain of having made it that far.

Amie C (nl) wrote: One of the best films about drug addiction ever made. True to the book, it's gritty and depressing.

Andrew S (br) wrote: Woody Allen may be the only human being alive who can make a film adaptation off a book with no story!

Joe L (au) wrote: this movie is pretty good for a movie made in 60's but it still doesn't age too well. audrey hep over acts a lot.

Michael W (kr) wrote: So bad it's good! A naughty pleasure! Robert Rodriguez creates a cheesy B movie of government made zombies and a town's struggles for survival, in a Texas style flavor. A stripper name Cherry, the protagonist with a past must adapt. Over the top lines, with stupid humor, filmed in 80's style blue light, the grace of south-western style create guilty pleasure. Guilty as charged I like this film. 4 stars.

Michael S (it) wrote: A limp and rather silly remake of the 1979 film, "When a Stranger Calls" certainly has a polished look. But with a teen-friendly PG-13 rating, it offers very little in terms of suspense, scares, and gore - which are MUSTS in the horror genre. It's so neutered that when it's over you wonder why they even bothered making it in the first place.
