Cham O (de) wrote: It's about capturing Iwo Jima island and the controversial behind the famous flag post. Got a good story but not good as Saving Private Ryan. Not the best of Clint Eastwood movies.

Dimity P (ca) wrote: I know this movie was kinda universally panned but I actually enjoyed it, I think mainly for the sheer weirdness of it all. The premise probably could have better executed, but it was still worth watching. The music was fucking phenomenal.

Arianeta L (mx) wrote: This movies beautifully illustrates the love between 2 men and their struggle against selfacceptness, hatress and lack of freedom in a society that doesn't allow them to live, and to be free beings and be as they are. In a society, that would rather see men fight and kill each other, than to see them embraceing. Its about the misery, fear and mistrust it causes for all when you are forced to live a life that isn't right for you. Few movies understand how to bring the message and give a impression like its really happening. This one does. It succeeds in showing what love between 2 men can be.The scenery of the movie is like taking a glimpse into the past around 1910 in England and makes you feel right there.

Page P (de) wrote: Just got done watching first, Cannibal Holocaust, ELI ROTH: The Green Inferno, and this movie. All great cannibal movies. By far this is my 2nd favorite cannibal movie of all time due to realistic gore and scenery. Acting was solid, but I wasn't crazy about the choices the actors made before they got tortured and eaten slowly. I thought that was stupid and thoughtless for them to do and for the director to make that final decision. Although, the movie had to go on for the most intriguing parts to come within true terror and gore. Great and entertaining movie to watch. Nasty, brutal, and psychotic. A must see. Some scares within certain scenes. Out of my honest opinion between the 3 movies. Cannibal holocaust will always be the number 1 best cannibal movie of all time do to sickening perversion, absolute realistic footage, slow murder, intense suspenseful scenes, and abbe rant torture, grisly, and repulsive violence for a documentary. Don't care if its fake, still the best !!!

Richard J (jp) wrote: Perhaps the most atrociously-acted, worst-scripted movie I have seen since, "Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls". Even with this poor script, decent actors could have timed their phrases to add meaning and depth. Instead, we wait in vain for at least one character to emerge who can convince us this utter drivel might have a slice of story, authenticity, feeling, hidden wisdom... anything. But, no, I'm sorry, we are doomed to witness the death of all that could have brought this wonderful and amazing tale of mythology the respect it deserves to the screen. In short; it stinks. It is, in fact, as bad as "The Legend of Hercules", or possibly (and this is really hard to achieve), worse!

Jayakrishnan R (de) wrote: 84%Saw this on 27/3/15Faced with more than just the task of being a sports drama, Invictus must be a riveting look at the racial segregation after South Africa became a free country and it must also be a satisfying account of the life of Nelson Mandela during the time of his presidency. Invictus nearly pulls all these off with enough conviction and whenever the film starts to fall off, Clint Eastwood pulls it back off to flight. This is a fine sports film, expertly crafted and it captures the spirit of the game aptly, take for instance the slow motion sequences during the rugby match. The story of Invictus is one of ample historic importance and it's a near miracle that was not given the attention that it deserved from the world and the director has done a respectable job by bringing it out to the masses.
