Mario T (ru) wrote: The movie reveals the true face of Japan in the past and our society in present. The search for the true love ends in a disturbing awakening. A cold society which is dominated by success and functional beeings. Men lead companies and in doing that they tend get masochists. On the other side a women searching for the true love which dissappears in a brutal reality where betraying is normal, nobody wants to invest anything into relationsships and any sex phantasy can be realized by paying for it. Definetely worth a look if you are interested in Japan or true facets of many societies. Good choice Arte!

Eobard T (fr) wrote: A film based on a theme park ride. Well, to be honest, this movie is far better than it has any right to be. It is a fun adventure that understands exactly what it is, and frequently acknowledges it. Overall, it could be slightly less long, and at times it is more style over substance, but overall this is a enjoyable film.

Paul A (au) wrote: watched this movie with very low expectations because I knew it would be dumb, but I still ended up watching it through to the end. I thought how it ended was actually pretty good it had a little unexpected twist, and the 2 songs at the ending were pretty cool. Rating this more then a 1 though would be undeserved.
Serge L (es) wrote: Crazy story of an english in africa that lives with lions, tigers, cougars, pumas, elephants. Family comes visit and are scared until they find that all these killers are sweet. Cute ending. Does not look dangerous to live with these animals in the end, in spite of what the guy that made the film said on the radio. Very simple film. Incredible shots. Filmed in California at the Shambala reserve. Dvd extras about the making of the film answer many questions about the film. Many people bit, scratched, and otherwise hurt during the filming, including the alpha male Mr Marshal (human playing the dad). There were several hospital stay, stitches, and some operations. This was the end of the naive 70s.
