Tatsuhito K (mx) wrote: Listen Up Philip is not for everybody. It revolves around an arrogant and egotistical central character who is, for general moviegoers, hard to relate to. But one thing people tend to forget is that this is a movie about flawed people; like all of us, each character ---whether they are engaging or not--- suffers from their own problems, and the film does a wonderful job at projecting these issues with brutal honesty. And I have this weird fascination toward flawed, unlikable characters. I've always thought that they are more humane than a lot of movie characters we see in mainstream films. It reminded me a lot of early Woody Allen films and some of Noah Baumbach films, both of which I'm a huge fan of. Loved the performances (Jason Schwartzman and Elizabeth Moss are terrific) and the cinematography. I liked Listen Up Philip, and if you don't like it, well, sucks to be you.

Adrian S (nl) wrote: Horrible. Even if you have time to spare, don't bother watching it.

Ryan D (us) wrote: The synopsis for this movie is all wrong. I was expecting this to be like Mean Girls, but really there was no revenge. It was just "revenge" by rising above. What made the movie for me is liking all the non-bully characters.

Greg S (us) wrote: I kept getting distracted from this by the desire to sleep. Sweet, merciful sleep. The ending was better than the first. The rest was pretty terrible. They just kinda changed the main girl and pretended it didn't happen. It was like Becky on Roseanne.

Ida B (br) wrote: This is one of these movies that every Swede should watch, I hadn't. Now I have. My sister turns to me in an exited voice: "wasn't it the best movie you have ever seen?" Honestly it wasn't, but that's a pretty big statement. In fact it was a really great movie. A very classic Swedish story of an outsider coming in to an isolated small-town society and stirring up the dust. I think the fear of the unknown is something all Swedes suffer from in some extent and that's why there are so many movies on that topic. This one is remarkable because the extreme differences of the outsiders and the towns people and how a "normal" person should be.

Brandon W (nl) wrote: I actually come across Driving Miss Daisy because one of the teachers from my school talked about it and said that it's on Netflix. So I looked it up in Rotten Tomatoes, and it got my interest of it. Driving Miss Daisy is a classic movie that would be remembered for a long time even though it already has been remembered. Morgan Freeman acts a bit different than his recent films which is really cool, and whenever he laughs, I just can't help but smile and laugh. Jessica Tandy plays a stubborn old woman pretty well that sometimes make me mad, but also a laugh at times. The chemistry between the two main characters are really good, and the conversations they have are pretty interesting to listen to, even if it's frustrating at times which makes sense form the main girl. The movie is relatively short which I'm glad consider with how simple the premise is. The screenplay is really good, and it's very interesting. Driving Miss Daisy is a wonderful film that shows that even small films can be memorable for a long time.

David K (ru) wrote: One of the best Johnny Depp performances. Its a very good movie although the ending might ruin it for some
