I was literally cringing in certain moments when things were going completely to hell and felt helpless as I watched the characters worlds fall apart in front of their eyes, And I bet it was a lot more entertaining watching it with my eyes than theirs! Everything about the film was great, and it is an unforgettable film for me that I will always remember as being one of the best of it's style that I will think of right off the bat, and joins fargo, and before the devil knows you're dead among others as one of those classic crime tales that really show that your actions can end up having some pretty severe consequences.

First off, the graphics and screenplay were pretty good. The introduction to this movie was quite long. About the characters, there were a plethora of characters I really liked. Bilbo, Thorin, and even Gandalf. I just don't think there was enough character development. I only knew a few key/main characters out of their whole crew of dwarfs. Finally, there are a lot of cliches in this movie. First, Bilbo's an outcast, then boom, he saves everyone, multiple times, etc. The Hobbit was not all bad, it definitely had some good plot points and had some real potential. Honestly, as I watched all three movies, I got quite bored during the second one, and the third one, well, let's just say there's a reason I'm not reviewing that one. But, if you're really into the fantasy and adventure genres, then you'll probable like these movies much more than I did.

(au) wrote: I see some of the reviews stating the importance of the film as it was the first to deal with the medical, social, and political issues of AIDS. However put that aside and it ends up being a slow paced drama that doesn't build the tension some other law film do. The stella performances from Hanks and Washington make it a decent but far from great film.

(kr) wrote: My appreciation of Hitchcock makes it hard for me to criticize this film. But in all honesty, it wasn't that greatest. The plot was messy and overcomplicated, and some of the acting was off. However, there were some genuinely amazing moments, such as the overhead shot when Juanita is killed.
(ru) wrote: Snyggt och smsnaskigt. Kunde varit mycket mer men filmen tyngs ned lite av sin tid. Dock vldigt kul att se Sinatra i en musikal dr han inte r en svrmorsdrm och helyllemysig.

(gb) wrote: I didn't think a film with this cast could be this bad. I was totally wrong. So awful.
(de) wrote: It really wants to be Gladiator but it is not. Orlando Bloom sucks but every other actor in the movie makes it watchable.
(ru) wrote: Dude has to housesit for his boss, and mayhem ensues. Gets the hot chick in the end of course. Pretty Funny.
(fr) wrote: Strangers on a Train benefits from its groundbreaking source material that is deftly handled by Hitchcock and the result is a diabolical and smart thriller.
