Dan H (nl) wrote: Well, that was weird. It's not a film made for kids (Though it is filled with silly humor). When Elizabeth loses her job, her boyfriend, her car, and her purse in one day she has what can only be described as an episode that brings back her long lost childhood imaginary friend Drop Dead Fred to wreck even more havoc, destruction and chaos in her life. The film tries to deal with adult issues and focuses on a goofy (and insufferable) character from a kids film. Yeah, it's not for kids but is also way too juvenile at times to be fully for adults. It's an interesting, well-meaning mess. The film is made much better if you watch it as an exploration of one person's severe mental disorder/ breakdown

Peter P (br) wrote: I liked it, action was solid, acting fine, and it had a good pace. And the ending was kinda original. Drop the nudity and language and it would have been better, but overall a good movie.

Barney o (mx) wrote: WHAT I LIKED: The first hour of 'Batman v Superman' is pretty great; featuring some nice action sequences, some iconic moments and a whole host of truly excellent visual effects and sound work from Hans Zimmer. It also explores some interesting philosophical concepts in a slightly more sophisticated way than Snyder has been known for, and grounds a brilliant version of Bruce Wayne/Batman in Ben Affleck along the way.WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: Sadly though, whilst some seeds are well-planted, few grow properly, and instead of a proper exploration, the film pulls another 'Man of Steel' on us. Yes about an hour in, the plot decides to turn in a new and uninteresting direction, and as a result the entire final act is yet again full of stuff that entirely disconnects and dis-engages. I literally didn't care an ounce by the end, and that was hugely emphasised by a complete un-doing of Superman's brilliant character.VERDICT: This is becoming a bit of a DCEU trait... Great set-up, poor delivery. Man was I bored by the end.
