Rohitashwa S (fr) wrote: Hollywood style european film. Good and intense.

Kristina K (it) wrote: Rosenbaum directing and writing is bellow amateur. It costed me a lot to focus on this movie and finish it.

bob l (br) wrote: Two hours of unanswered questions with none at the end either. Dumb.

Kyle B (br) wrote: It's not a perfect sequel to Funny Girl and lacks the same spunk of it but it is a fine movie. Barbra Streisand is still great even if she doesn't feel like the same Fanny Brice. James Caan did a fine job as well and the little Omar Sharif had to do was fine as well. The musical numbers are far better than the overall story and in between scenes and make this movie worth watching especially the last half of the movie's numbers. The art direction, costumes, make up, hair, sound, and cinematography are all top notch here as well

Mark S (kr) wrote: Enjoyable and unpredictable, but overlong. After watching it in quick succession with several other Bette Davis films I realised what range she had. Her turn as a young governess unfairly mixed up in scandal is unlike any of her other roles that I've currently seen and I wouldn't necessarily have thought it'd suit her, yet she's entirely believable. As with some of her other films from this period the same can't be said for some of her fellow cast members. Charles Boyer is okay but a little bland as the Duc de Praslin, and (even though she was nominated for an Oscar in the role) I found Barbara O'Neil to be a bit too hammy as his jealous seemingly manic-depressive wife.

E L (es) wrote: Hard to imagine this spawned innumerable sequels. Everything here is laughable, which is quite entertaining in itself. Taking this seriously in any other way would be very very sad.

Robbin B (mx) wrote: It is a great addition

Henrysmovieguide C (de) wrote: Pretty cool, honestly. A very smart movie, and suspenseful. If you're a fan of more realistic sci-fi movies, this is one for you. Really good.
