Maryna H (ru) wrote: Definitely nothing like I've seen before

Michael J (au) wrote: I liked the film, but there is definitely flaws in the story and especially the finale.

Ramona D (br) wrote: saw it already. not bad

Rodney W (us) wrote: Cinematic poetry. A series of visual haikus, running the whole of the emotional gamut.

Anthony W (ag) wrote: Great Hong Kong action movie directed by arguably HK's answer to Sam Peckinpah - Ringo Lam. Chow Yun-Fat's performance is as great as ever even though he's a much colder character in this compared to the characters he played in his John Woo-directed films. Anthony Wong also puts in a great performance, as does Simon Yam as the lead villain. The nightclub shoot-out uses some then-innovative tricks, and the gunplay is effective albeit less stylised than in Woo movies. The UK version is now completely uncut after losses to some horrific violence and all scenes depicting the balisong knife were made to versions released prior to 1999. Not a hit in HK, but did very well overseas.

Scarlett M (ru) wrote: saw this in one of my lectures. would like to see again without my professor yapping during it.

Sylvie G (jp) wrote: Tres drole Jude Law tres bon j ai bien aime

Viktor N (nl) wrote: Many illthought things (like why they need helmets inside their ships but how lucky the uninhabited planet they happen to crasch on have oxygen), bad or lack of back story and a draging story makes this a long movie. The effects and background was good, nothing to complain about there.

David D (de) wrote: It takes far too long to start moving to be redeemed by the ending

Jason K (gb) wrote: Great cinematography, shitty actresses (like all of them). Not sure if recasting would have helped but it def would have made for a less force line delivery of nearly everything said and done in this film.

Alex V (us) wrote: Worth seeing because of how truly bad a film this is ha ha. As a horror film, it is awful--it isn't scary, the acting is beyond awful, the storyline is terrible, and overall, it is just a poorly done film. I could probably direct a better film. Truly, though, it does have some merit to it, for a film student at least. It shows what "Not To Do" when making a film ha ha ha ha ha.

Adam R (fr) wrote: An interesting story, but a fairly generic sports drama. (First and only viewing - 4/2/2016)
