Peter K (it) wrote: super fun, great action, great comedy, great story, great characters. not much like TV series but it's a hoot and fun to watch.

Paul D (it) wrote: Sure it's cliched, but I'm not sure what sports movie isn't. It's not an amazing movie, and it's not a terrible movie, and if you're already a lacrosse fan, you'll probably enjoy this one. Better acted and more enjoyable than I expected.

Fran G (jp) wrote: Un film sympa, pas trop realiste parfois mais trs agreable de regarder.

Brandon S (ru) wrote: This is more of just a nostalgia trip for me. It was kind of a staple of my childhood.

Josh C (au) wrote: An intensely fast paced movie with an unpredictable and exhilarating ending.

Patryk C (nl) wrote: Mildred Pierce is a genuine noir title, and Joan Crawford's tour de force. In this film, a murderous mystery tale (told through greatly-used retrospectives) intertwines with some incredibly touching melodramatic sensations. Mildred Pierce, a woman struggling to prove her independence and strength, wants to love and be loved, but those two don't necessarily come in pairs. Divorced and almost broke, the woman tries to persuade a wealthy lounge frequenter to help her create her own business, namely a chain of restaurants. As time passes, she becomes successful, but still not able to please her pretentious and disobeying daughter Vida. More problems arise for Mildred, and she gradually begins to understand that the only way out of the whole mess might be the most dangerous one. Mildred Pierce is a valuable noir movie, and a fantastic socially conscious cinematic achievement. The psychological aspects are a many, but their true value comes with wonderful performances, low-key lightning and moody cinematography that is as disturbing as it is acute. Mildred Pierce brings a story that influenced many related films, and developed into a classic in a short period of time.

Joel A (us) wrote: The incredibly well choreographed Hollywood musical all set in Hollywood when 2 sailors are on leave. The film itself is a little weak in story & characters but they are entertaining enough that is for the first 75% of the film...the problem is the length if the film I find it to long.I mean the dance sequence between Kelly & Tom (the animated mouse) is fantastic to watch but so many dance sequences are unnecessary and over extended. This had a lot going for it & worth a viewing if you appreciate musicals but it's no Singing in the Rain.

Nazis use Grande on log cabin so it will not be used to hide allies. Have Lady encounter POW camp where a blind man ask to use Lady for a Seen Eye dog. Workers are around digging and putting sand bags for barricades Dog found owner but Nazis located British pilot Dog can't even fetch a stick. Nazi sergeant insults British pilot Lady came home with owner. Nothing about the ending came as a surprise because it was expected. The body of the film and journey was the best part of the film. Lassie was insured for a million dollars while head star was insured for less.
