I will definitely have fun revisiting this one in the future when I don't have house guests underfoot and can give it my full attention.Recommended.

(ru) wrote: Filled with cliche joke after cliche dramatic event, by the end I was caught off guard in how I had become so emotionally tied to the characters. A film that was interestingly based on a true story about a man who documented his story with his domineering girlfriend on the internet. If you like your romantic comedy to have an unequivocal happy ending this one may be for you. First time rating: 7.4/10

(nl) wrote: Just found Rotten Tomatoes this evening and saw that one of my favorite movies, Journey to the Seventh Planet, didn't have any ratings. So I need to set the record straight and make sure that others know just how fantastic the director, Sydney Pink, and his movies are. It's time for all the world to know that Sid Pink is right up there in the pantheon of Hollywood gods and goddesses with the likes of Ed Woods. Journey to the Seventh Planet (which is Yeranus, BTW) is so bad it's great. The first time I saw it, back in 1995 one late night on the Sci Fi Channel, I immediately noticed the genius of it -- and stole the director's name for my own online alias, sidpink. I've used it with pride for the last ten years. So join me in celebrating the genius that was Sid Pink. Sidpink is dead, long live Sidpink.
