Ruben G (ru) wrote: Very dull and boring. It's not fun to watch. Ridiculous characters. Don't understand how this was made into a movie. I don't like the plot. I only watched a few scenes of this film, and it's boring.Overall, one of the worst animated films ever!

The display of latent invincible power of the mysterious mother's (as well as all females) body. Breillat's boldness & controversial as always, boring (for a feature) too however. It would be more presentable if putting on a stage play. And Rocco Siffredi, the Italian Stallion, being the fake-homo.
Matthew M (gb) wrote: This movie was not as bad as you would think. It definitely tried and it has some funny results. The one thing I did not get was the girlfriend. After the main characters little sister was almost killed they drive back. half way or I don't know exactly how far away but that doesn't matter. He runs out of gas on his moped thing. She was like you sure you didn't plan this. I mean come on yeah he planned it right after his sister was almost shocked to death in a pull by a killer robot lol. That was really out there but atleast the robot was not bad. It felt like short circuit but a bad guy. However, the Robot had some good lines and the film had some fun with itself. Overall, it was not bad at all and there were some good moments.
Harry W (au) wrote: School Ties doesn't exactly have a large enough number of events to constitute a film, or a proper way of dealing with them, but the way it deals with themes of racism and fitting in at high school and it's powerful lead from Brendan Fraser and support from Matt Damon make it worth seeing. School Ties succeeds primely as an example of talented youth in the making.

Richard D (br) wrote: Errol Morris intended to make "Nub City" ... a documentary about some people that had cut off their own limbs for insurance money. When some of the subjects of this film threatened his life, he had to rethink the project, and came up with this film, a portrait of some of the eccentrics he met in the town of Vernon, Florida while researching "Nub City". Like "Gates of Heaven", there's something ineffably magical and profound about this film. I'm quite moved by these people, but I can't say exactly why. It touches on the deep need of people to find meaning and sense in their lives even if they may not be fully equipped to do so. It's very inspiring.

Sandy K (au) wrote: Richard Gere plays a man who is essentially a happy man with a good life, but who secretly starts taking ballroom dancing lessons to energize his life, increasingly guilty at hiding this from his wife (Susan Sarandon). Stanley Tucci is a comedic scene-stealer as a co-worker who has been trying to keep his passion for flamboyant dancing a secret. (An American remake of the Japanese movie by the same title.)
Andrew G (gb) wrote: Highly entertaining action thriller with a perfectly cast hero and villain. If only the movie tried to add depth to the story instead of throwing every airplane action trope at the screen. They're well done tropes mind you, but severely lacking in originality.
