The Sword Stained with Royal Blood

"Godfather of the kung-fu film", Chang Cheh, made this treasured and beloved adventure featuring a sword, training manual, treasure map and a secret message. The kung-fu which ensues is as impressive as it is glorious.

Phillip Kwok plays the orphaned son of a general disgraced and executed by his political enemies... which has nothing to do with the rest of the movie. Raised to be a righteous martial artist, Yuan kicks off the story proper by finding a cave containing a skeleton, a treasure map, and a manual teaching him the Golden Snake style. Obeying a request hidden in the manual to give a portion of the treasure to the Golden Snake's old girlfriend, Yuan begins to seek the woman out - on the way solving the riddle of the Golden Snake, and how he came to his end. . The Sword Stained with Royal Blood torrent reviews

Jenn M (ca) wrote: Parts of this were pretty funny but it was obviously a straight to DVD movie. Vivica was brutal but the other actors weren't half bad. The narration was strange and it was a bit offensive to have a program to train men.....especially since I consider women to be far worse. But overall, not bad

RAIDER R (ca) wrote: Not the greatest plot, honestly alot of holes in it, but, if u recognize it for what it is and not try and make it an oscar winning picture, and just go into it knowing its just a one man against the world action flick, then you will finish the film happy with your time spent. Worth a watch and you can do alot worse

Andrew L (us) wrote: Classic start to a modern classic trilogy - probably the only trilogy of recent years that is any good

Manny C (mx) wrote: Another excellent pairing of D.W. Griffith and Lillian Gish.

Joe G (fr) wrote: Although you knew where it was going to end, it was really funny and kept my attention. Love Jason Bateman!

Adam J (jp) wrote: Jarring and raw, this engaging triller demands to be noticed and does not disappoint once it has your attention.
