Steven M (jp) wrote: Though slightly less wry, "Terribly Happy" is otherwise very much what one imagines the Coen Brothers would be producing were they Danes.

Lisa M (ag) wrote: Very touching movie. I liked that it was a sad movie without being depressing.

Jordan C (es) wrote: This was the first Robin Williams movie I ever saw. I was 7 years old and watched it 4 times in a row. Rest in peace, you brilliant man.

As in most of director Pedro Aldomovar films, I don't find them to be funny, even though some are intended to be comedies, but what stand out the most are the twists and turns as well as the most bizarre of situations that don't happen to our everyday lives but do happen here and it works, in this case as well as most othersof Aldomovar films things begin to unravel until after the first hour, and start to make sense! This is no soap opera and viewers should also expect to see the most strangest and the most oddest circumstances that wouldn't happen to most normal citizens! 3 out of 4

Joseph B (es) wrote: Just terrible. The religiosity (especially kowtowing to one guy) and nationalism are obnoxious, the jabs at elitism are too weak, the Vangelis fart-music is ill-suited and, true story or not, this tome can easily induce sleep. Although it is well-shot and well-edited, it truly is one of the worst of the Best Picture lot. Also, they were able to use the Chinese "five-colored" flag for the 1924 Olympics, but not find a 48-star US flag for the club fair scene in 1919? Seriously?

D M (ru) wrote: All the major actors return as Superman once again battles Lex Luthor, yet this time the villain has employed the aid of three of Superman's father's nemeses from Krypton. The campiness-level has been raised (changing the tone from the original), the story is a bit uneven at times, and the special-effects bar wasn't raised at all. Despite these faults, this sequel is very good and stands on its own.
