Grant S (de) wrote: An interesting true story on the right to freedom of speech. Has the feel of a documentary and thus is fairly dry, but is very informative and thought-provoking and fairly well acted.

Benjathor I (kr) wrote: I actually thought this movie was completely hilarious. I'll admit that this is not The Shawshank Redemption, but it wasn't trying to be. It was playful and quirky and the dialog had me laughing out loud at points. Would I watch it with my mother? No. Would I watch it with a laid-back girl while knocking back a few beers? Absolutely.

Gary C (fr) wrote: Christmas movie, sort of. I used to force the kids I over saw in summer camp to watch this movie at least once a week summer of 2010. I never got tired of it. Lots of funny one liners and Lewis Black.

Matthew M (br) wrote: Backed by Edward Norton's incredible performance, the film's message is both powerful and not preachy.

Mandy P (fr) wrote: Looks amusing, I'll rent it. If it's smart then I'll buy it. I like springing great and underrated films on friends.

Tim S (br) wrote: If you're a fan of movies that are so bad that they're good, then there's no reason why you won't at least enjoy Hard Ticket to Hawaii. For me personally, it was a bit like finding buried treasure. This movie is so much fun and impossible not to like that I found myself loving it immediately. It's now one of my favorite bad movies and probably one that I'll want to watch over and over again. The Andy Sidaris (writer/director) formula is pretty simple: cast a bunch of Playboy Playmates in a spy/action type of movie with lots of nudity, guns, bad acting, beautiful locations and explosions. It's a sure-fire recipe for pure bad movie delight. The movie is also a part of Sidaris' Triple B series, which comprises twelve films, all of which can be found in the Guns, Girls and G-Strings DVD Collection from Mill Creek Entertainment. If you haven't seen this, or any other Andy Sidaris movie, I highly recommend that you check one out. You should definitely start with Hard Ticket to Hawaii though as it's more or less perfect in its badness. It has something for everyone.

chris b (fr) wrote: I will start writing this review by saying that 100 mins of this movie put me back in time with my only one lover I ever had..... the ending kept me wanting for more....but, I think I get the point of the director/writer..... the ending of the story is up to you. Personally, even though the ending kept me wanting for more I found it very predictable. This movie will have a special meaning for those who have ever fallen in love. You will smile.... maybe cry but of happiness I think. I do not edit my reviews so I apologize for any misspelling of any sort. Thanks.
