Tommaso D (br) wrote: About Time is most certainly one of the best made romantic comedies of the last decade: it's original, it's genuine, beautifully shot and the perfect soundtrack is just the cherry on top of the cake. What an amazing job done by director Richard Curtis, who also wrote the screenplay. For sure it has its flaws, like any other movie with time travel in them, but the honesty and the positive emotions that this movie can give largely make up for any of those flaws.Terrific performance from Rachel McAdams and heartwelming chemistry between her and Domhnall Gleeson. One of the very few movies that I enjoy watching again.

Chris M (es) wrote: It was a very funny and very well done Looney Tunes animated short. It had really great animation, really great visuals, great characters, great humor, really great music and a very fun story. It's one of the best animated shorts of 2010. I've seen this short movie before "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole" in IMAX 3D. I will recommend this short movie to Looney Tunes fans of all ages.

Jennifer S (ru) wrote: This movie has pretty much no focus, and not a lot happens, unfortunately. Two redeeming features are that it has Jeremy Irons in it and that he gets to dress up in all of these bizarre disguises (including in drag) when he's a thief, which is hilarious. However, the film spends waaaaaaay too much time on these trippy, color-changing "black-out" scenes with Patricia Kaas singing lounge numbers. Plus, I just found it rather implausible that they both had brain tumors, met up, and fell in love. Done well, I might have believed it, but not wth the way this movie jumps all over the place and bored me to death in places.

The script is very good, although very very challenging, and meets quite well the atmosphere of the book it's based on. A fine reminder of the fact that Rutger Hauer can be quite a good and convincing actor. Also, a rare example of a pure alternative history film.

Thomm S (au) wrote: This handsomely done film was one of Barbara's best efforts. I think more than any other film she did , it realy showcases her beauty. It is very entertaiing, the costumes and sets are gorgeous. I think it would have been more effective if the Daisy Gamble character had been a low class slob, instead of being just a nutty scatterbrain, that would have really made a stunning contrast to Melind's style and elegance. On A Clear Day, which was not a big boxoffice hit, but did make back its cost, will always rank as one of my favourite films.
