Simeon D (de) wrote: Paul Logan looks like he's infuriated by something throughout the entire movie. This is an obvious mockbuster of Piranha 3D, and though I haven't seen that I can understand how this would try to capture its over the top concept and action, but as an Asylum movie (the 6th one I've seen and our 3rd entry in our "The Asylum Presents" movie marathon) this simply fails on every level. The loud, overblown musical score and the ludicrously fast pace makes the cast's earnest efforts seem a little too silly. Comedic highlights for bad movie fans include extremely repetitive film editing, absurd giant piranha CGI, several very out of place actors, and US marines wielding Nerf guns. These are among the infinite flaws of what may be the abysmal cinematic endeavor of 2010. Despite how bad it was and how many painful fits of laughter it induced, I must add that the pointless editing made Mega Piranha give me a headache after a while and the ending was beyond comprehension. It'll guarantee frequent laughs, but it's to over-ambitious to be better than The Asylum's other attempts. 03/100

Faley A (it) wrote: Probably the most intriguing opening of a movie thats possible . This movie is a real blast ..not many directors of the world could do it . I would never forget the spectacular gunfights ..

Jay T (ag) wrote: Interesting idea, good acting, definitely a lower budget movie but they made it work, plus, casting James Marsters and Tony Todd - nothin' wrong with that.

Purav V (us) wrote: A lot of it just doesn't make any sense but, hey, if you put that aside, it's still pretty mediocre.

Axl K (nl) wrote: A film that artistically breaks the mold to become whatever it wants to. Refreshingly original and successfully conveys enough emotion to deliver an impact. Excellent performances all around and a nostalgia laden sojntrack.

Tom H (jp) wrote: Good 80`s slasher with just the right amount of humor. The music score in this film is almost identical to the Friday the 13th movies.

Adam S (kr) wrote: I hate saying it but it really is just awful.

Greg W (kr) wrote: A precursor to all those radiation fallout monster flicks of the Fifties. A telling cautionary tale worth a watch for far more than the nostalgic factor.

Piglitt W (kr) wrote: The great animation mixed with classical music makes a near perfect film, it can show so much emotion with so little to show. Not exactly for children but it can be viewed by them, it's just that kids likely prefer a flowing narrative. I love though, and with out a doubt I'll see it many more times in the future.
