(us) wrote: The movie is undeniably sad, but it's a certain type of sad in which you will probably find it hard to look away. The characters are interesting, flawed people just like you and me, and everyone stumbles onto something interesting from scene to scene.
(us) wrote: A total chick flick that works much better for the sexy ladies than the actual story. Forgettable once again....

I loved the small ensemble of characters, the narrative twists, and the moments of genuine suspense. I especially enjoyed the sequence where Susan Strasberg knows there is a dead body in the house but can't figure out where it is -- your freezer and your pool are seldom this creepy. This movie may be a far cry from Hammer's usual fantasy/horror fare (despite a small role for Christopher Lee), but it is a gem in its own right. If you enjoy Hitchcock, give this a spin.

(mx) wrote: A knowledgeable, Sci-Fi mystery that is acted without blinking, having believable integrity which makes this a fine movie to watch. The actors make a superb job of the script and sets giving us a look into the near future that is marvelous in its look and feel. The science is not out of the realm of possibility giving something to latch onto with wonder. Nibbles: Grilled Mushroom, Ham and Basil Skewers.
(au) wrote: Danny Boyle most famous film for it's very personal inner voice that follows us troughout the film. Transpotting is a funny and dramatic energetic flick about the life of drug addicts in Edinburgh: how their survival depends on ways to get the next fix; how the urge to disconnect with reality brings more misery, unhapiness, death and hardship; but also of Hope in its final bitter taste. Ewan McGregor most infamous role. Definitely a must see no hesitations there.
