(it) wrote: A realistic look at the difficult life of one lion trying to keep her cubs alive through fire, a threat of other predators in the area, and starvation. A bit too sad and graphic for very young kids, but good. It's kind of boring, but if you like lions, it has some nice footage. You've got to remember that lions aren't actors and that this is a very sneaky documentary with accurate and perceptive (read as: not Disney) narration and explanations, so this was probably a huge amount of editing work, combined with incredibly good luck to get the footage/shots in the first place. Buuuuut its still just rather bland. Not recommended (Unless you love lions, but are also fine with watching lions die).

(br) wrote: Jason Staham is back once again as the cool Frank Martin and to deliver yet another package.. Pretty much the same as the first 2 flicks with hard boiled action scenes as always. But i thought some scenes were a bit to fast / quick camera changes which could have been better. Inspector Tarconi are back aswell. Overall a highly entertaining movie and Jason are probably one of the best action dudes these days. Enjoy

(it) wrote: Great. I highly recommend it. About a brilliant chess player, top in the world. But absent in other areas. Loved the scene where he was dumped in a huge town square and had to ask where he was.
(it) wrote: Ridiculous cliche-ridden wannabe screwball charmer has scant narrative or character development. Like a cartoon come to life, but with less subtlety.
(it) wrote: Was this a good movie? Sure. It's a Hollywood blockbuster version of a Chinese movie. There are tons of these if you bothered to watch any of the older ones. There's really nothing new or original about this movie.

(ag) wrote: This film tries for an overall moral lesson while also trying to be a cool horror film. It, unfortunately, doesn't succeed and just comes off as cheesy.

(de) wrote: This is a formally stunning adaptation of the Arthur Schnitzler play. One of Ophuls's best films, it moves along at a wonderful pace and is always totally entertaining.
(nl) wrote: Pretty dire attempt to find a new angle for yet another rom-com storyline. This is pretty childish and un-engaging throughout.
(jp) wrote: Fitzgerald Family Christmas is well acted with occasionally witty dialogue, but there is nothing significant to propel this family drama apart from other films of the genre.
