Jennifer R (us) wrote: I'm always disappointed each time I see this movie. It's just "okay" on it's own as a movie, but what always makes me so mad is that the creators completely destroyed what the movie was supposed to be. They claim it's based off the books but anybody who has actually read the book can tell you otherwise. Some of the basics to the story are there but they completely ruined too many details. Do yourselves a favor and read the book first instead and see how amazing the real story actually is, then you can be disappointed with the movie if you like afterwards.

Grant S (kr) wrote: Decent enough action-drama, set in Mexico in the late-1800s/early-1900s. Good plot, though it runs out of steam towards the end. Direction is solid, though unspectacular.Good performances Jim Brown and Burt Reynolds. However, Raquel Welch steals the show with her stunning beauty and action-girl character.

Matty S (au) wrote: Although not of his strongest films, there is cinematic magic in "Love Streams" -- particularly due to the presence of his wife/muse, Gena Rowlands. The structure of the story is a bit too loose and it runs longer than it should. But the gift of creating memorable characters with committed actors remains fully intact. A film of note.

Alex S (br) wrote: Wild Things features a substantial amount of poor acting, as well as cheesy, cliched dialogue. It also doesn't help that the movie can't keep any sense of coherence, which so many questions left unanswered that you don't even think it's worth thinking about. However, there are some enjoyable parts, if in the right mood, which makes the experience semi-tolerable.
