Overall, this is solid low budget horror entertainment from the reliable genre producer Charles Band. The film also features some decent creature effects and better than average photography for low budget horror films, which in this case was done by Sergio Salvati, who worked on a number of Lucio Fulci films. "Cellar Dweller" benefits from a decent cast of past movie stars (Yvonne De Carlo,Vince Edwards) and names of the moment (Combs, Debrah Farentino, Brian Robbins). The film was written by Don Mancini, who'd go on to write the Child's Play/Chucky movies for the next four decades. It's a pretty silly story, but it is an entertaining one. You can guess what happens next. The creates then kills Combs and the film then picks up in modern time where a new comic book artist decides to bring back the character. " An1950s EC Comics-like artist, played by the great Jeffrey Combs (our modern day Vincent Price), creates a new monster for his horror comic, The Cellar Dweller. From the director of "Troll" and "Ghoulies Go to College" comes "Cellar Dweller

Highly recommended for horror fans who enjoy such "reality isn't what it seems" flicks as "Dark City," "In the Mouth of Madness" and the more recent "Inception. These are the film's worst problems, though, leaving a very good, original film. The worst problem in the technical realm is the sound; the music and sound effects sometimes overwhelm the dialogue, which is sometimes too quiet even without competing sounds. There's plenty of blood in the latter half of the movie, though it occasionally isn't completely convincing. On the downside, the limitations of a low budget production show through in places. The story takes awhile to set up, but once it does it moves along well. Joseph Gatt is fine in his limited scenes as the male incubus persona of succubus Ariel. The acting here is quite good; Michael Brainard as Rick is reminiscent of Jack Nicholson in "The Shining" and Axelle Cummings as Ariel is strong in most scenes, though her somewhat brassy voice sometimes doesn't fit her role well. It's only in the very last few minutes that we can finally be certain of what we've just seen. Is Rick really killing Ariel again and again or is he hallucinating the whole thing? We soon lose track of reality, so that by the end of the film, when the events we've seen may be explained by a psychiatrist in an institution for the criminally insane, we can't even be sure that the explanation is real. Once the curse has begun, it's hard to tell whether what we're seeing exists only in Rick's mind or if it's real until the end of the film. For Rick, the attack comes when he decides to cheat on his wife. As a child, he saw the result of this when his mother murdered his paraplegic father and committed suicide. Each time a family members has a moral failing, they receive the demons. The screenplay moves forward and backward in time to build the narrative of the destruction of a man whose family has been cursed by an incubus/succubus. I like a good "operation mindfuck" flick, and this one fills the bill admirably. I didn't know what to expect from "Killing Ariel," but it turned out to be a very interesting and rewarding horror find

ade like a student project film with second rate acting from a bunch of wannabes! Bomb. The fast-forward helped past time since it consists of alot of pointless babbling and screaming. After driving away from an accidental hit on run causing a dented fender of a SUV, they soon realize that the person they hit was a psychotic lunitic who does nothing but stalks and terrorizes these five teenage girls througout the entire film which resulted in plenty of bawling and wailing and sometimes unconvincingly so. Monday, December 5, 2011 (2006) Five Across The Eyes HORROR Cheapie looking, done by via- camcorder made in the same fashion as "The Blair Witch Project" except that all of the events happen at a car and a deserted highway! This thing that's called a film focuses on 5 young teenage girls on their way home, decide to stop by for some directions

Better than the first

Duncan Jones is one of the strongest additions to cinema. As action-packed as it is smart

There are far worse horror-comedies out there but it's not a movie I would recommend. well, are not really that funny. . . The effects are for the most part not very good and the funny lines. A few funne scenes but that's it. A poor spoof/ripoff of Zombieland

Slo es MUY recomendable si te gusta la msica y en especial los Fados. En l puedes ver algunas variaciones del gnero portugus por antonomasia. No es un documental al uso
