It's pretty strange and disgusting at times, but if ur in the mood for a stupid spoof, I guess it's alright, but the reason I'm giving it 3 instead of 2.5 is because even if it suffers from some stupid, insanely weird parts, there are also some hilarious rock solid jokes in there. 3/5 stars
Jason C (ca) wrote: If Mike Leigh made a zombie movie, I suspect it would be very much like this-- mostly it's a talky drama about a group of poor women trying to make their way. Only, you know, they eat people.
Timothy E (es) wrote: It's not without its charm, but this entry feels particularly directionless. This is one that you watch for the monsters. . . Also, Yuki is awesome.

Andrew O (it) wrote: By the end of the film, it's hard to decide what's more impressive: the extremely inventive and effective low-budget production, or how Smith so cleverly adds scenes together that seem merely an excuse for his vulgar but brilliant dialogue to make a moving and important theme of focus.
brendan n (br) wrote: guilty pleasure only, i watched this not so long ago and honestly enjoyed its premise and red herrings. i liked it and since coming on here i'm shocked at the rating it has. very funny how you can view a film without any recommodations and enjoy it and find on this site everyone hates it. lucky i didn't look on here first for reviews. lambert should never have tried the american market as the acting has never really improved. fun and harmless if you are at home and this comes on, you can't really complain to much if you end up watching the whole thing. a great cast makes the most of the weak story
Ted C (au) wrote: Wings Hauser is Ramrod, one of the most memorable evil pimps in cinematic history. The title song, sung by Wings himself, is pretty unforgettable too. Great sleazy exploitation film made on the streets of Hollywood.

Colin M (gb) wrote: Cop film with corruption and family divisions at the heart of the story. All seemed rather slow and disjointed, while the ending could have been finished off a lot better.
Lesley N (ru) wrote: So exactly what does happen once you're dead? Do you get guided to a place of twinkly lights by a grim reaper moments after they've pinched the soul right out of your body? Or do you get to pop up in front of your loved ones at inconvenient moments to remind them what they're missing? Or do you come back to scare little boys with your rotting flesh until they finish your unfinished business? Or maybe you'll be out playing baseball every night in Kevin Costners field. This film plumps for none of these and instead suggests that after your numbers up, you go to live in a college residiential hall for a week while you drum up your most precious memory to take with you to the great hereafter. A gentle beautiful film that just might make you re-evaluate how you see your life. After all, what memory would YOU take with you for all eternity?
