(nl) wrote: interesting film but it sacrifices enjoyment for directorial techniques and symbolism. Overall a very mundane film, a bit like drive but more muddled up and confusing
(ag) wrote: Don't listen to the naysayers. This movie is great! I think the people who don't like it have an over estimation and misguided idea of both Punk and CBGB's in general. If you're looking for a movie that will sell you you're idea of both these, keep looking. This is more of a reality movie than the fantasy that to many people have created around CBGB's. Sit back and enjoy.

(jp) wrote: a simplistic, beautiful depiction of kurdish's cultural society, seen from a city dweller engineer. it;s true, some might get turn-off with its monotonic story ( 80 % of the film just shows the engineer wandering around the village, with nothing happened ). but Kiarostami direction and honest capturing of the village realism makes it succeed in not to get me overslept watching this

(kr) wrote: Not bad, but not good, this film seems to not know what kind of film it is. Part rock opera, druggy/hippy flick, sexploitation, parody, satire, that looks like it might end as a horror movie and then ends as a morality tale complete with fairy tale happy ending...A real head-scratcher for sure. Entertaining in its own right, the acting was not bad at all considering the actors were probably confused about what was going on 99% of the time.

(br) wrote: Made just after the series ended it's run on TV, the Munster's quickly returned on the big screen, in what is essentially a bloated Munsters episode set in England and in Color. The cast from the show all return, with the exception of Pat Priest as Marilyn (Universal apparently changed her for some contract actress they had), and the plot involves Herman inheriting a British estate and becoming Lord Munster (much to the chagrin of the Bratty British Munsters who wanted the power and money). Somehow it all ends up with Herman in a drag race. If you like the show, this is a fun addition to that, but it has some gags repeated from the show and isn't the most exciting thing in the world. Fun for family Halloween viewing, but not as fun as the series had been.
