Jeb E (br) wrote: Not entirely sure what to make of this one. Absolutely visually stunning, with an incredible synth-heavy score, but mostly middling performances, flat characters, and an unearned final act. Sometimes it's okay for a work to champion style over substance, and sometimes the style IS the substance, but I'm not sure I can say so here. I was really taken with the look of the film, and the score, but did it actually have anything new or interesting to say? I'm just not sure. Three stars for glitter.

Kerby H (es) wrote: Woody Allen sure did take a risk with this one, but it is as hilarious as it is creative.

Maks N (ca) wrote: After Ice Age, the best Blu Skies animation.

Jarrin R (jp) wrote: one foreign film I would not mind reading through

Buffy t (br) wrote: This movie was awesome. It was'nt scary but still rocked

Matthew L (ru) wrote: For a time Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman seemed to be contractually obligated to star together. This time we get a slow and dull military courtroom drama with a twist that feels both signposted from the start and tacked on at the same time.

Kenny W (de) wrote: This remake was very well done, though some see it as a cheap rip off.

Bob W (ru) wrote: The young adult dystopian films so popular right now need plotters to take a break and write something original and meaningful. Go back and read Orwell, Huxley, Bradbury, Vonnegut or even Moore--have a socio-political point to make! And let me count the tropes in this film... Writers, if your films are going to be this interminable, please have something beyond a few video game special effects and cropped hair.

Sean W (br) wrote: Willow Creek, with its very short running time, doesn't do or say a great deal. It offers some creepy moments and some genuinely chilling scares, but it isn't very exciting and ends on a flat note, and you're not quite sure what just happened, nor do you particularly care. The performances are pretty solid though, and an extended take featuring the two leads in their tent listening to the Blair-Witchian sounds surrounding them is a stand-out moment.

Adam R (it) wrote: A heavy drama that is too graphic for my taste. It was too much for me, but Hilary Swank deserves all the praise she gets for her astonishing portrayal of Brandon Teena. (First and only viewing - 11/22/2011)

Jack P (gb) wrote: A typical no brainer chick flick with a predictable plot and Sarah Jessica Parker ad the main character, what could be worse. A bland film which will only appeal to woman hence the title being a dead giveaway.
