The Wandering Swordsman

The Wandering Swordsman

In this thrilling martial arts twist on the tale of Robin Hood, a charismatic highwayman (Death Duel and Shaolin Temple's David Chiang) with formidable sword skills decides to help the poor by robbing from thieves and distributing the wealth. This plan doesn't sit well with the criminals, who band together to stop him. Fortunately, our hero has a powerful blade on his side, not to mention popular beauty Lily Li (Black Magic) at his side. A high-spirited blend of action, romance, and comedy, this Shaw Brothers classic from fearless director Chang Cheh (Five Deadly Venoms) is a timeless example of pure high-voltage entertainment.

Eric W (mx) wrote: Made me laugh in a few spots, the boys (5 & 2) thought it was awesome

Deven T (kr) wrote: Dhamaal is truly a comedic laughing riot. Although some scenes are recycled from It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Rat Race and Mr. Bean, it will certainly put a smile on your face and make you laugh for sure. With Director Indra Kumar weaving in twists and turns, new characters, and a comedic script and actions, it's popcorn filled fun for the whole family. Watch this if you're feeling bored or down.

Patrick W (mx) wrote: I really enjoyed this novel because of the power and emotions the writer and his friends went through during the late 1940's to early 1950's. Very anger that this film didn't focus on the emotions and thought processing of the main Character Sal, let alone skip the chapters of Finding Deans fathers and exploring the Mexican culture of the 1950's. As well the inspiration, and energy, that was given to the reader after finishing Jack's book. Overall; Amazing novel, very disappointing film. 1.5/5
