(br) wrote: It was made into the wrong medium (film) but that doesn't mean that it's bad. The acting was great, and the message was decent. I was surprised by Olivia Wilde, who brought a flirtatious flare to her scenes, it really added to the tone. Really it's only downfall is the lack of something new and insightful, which made it's serious tone seem less fitting.

(it) wrote: Anna Kendrick is a pretty good actress. The movie made me jump quite a bit and keep me in supsense. Though what he did with those girls was horrible. It was kinda obvious who the bad guy was once you started to think about it. Loved Paul Wesley in it! Though wouldve loved to see him more in it :) Was good to see him not in a 'good guy' role! Hot as ever still haha. Overall not a bad movie.

(it) wrote: Watchable but not very good or memorable. Always interesting to see Will Ferrell dialed down and not trying to be funny.
(nl) wrote: This is one of my all time favorite movies. I have it on DVD and still stop to watch for a few minutes at least when coming across it in passing on TV. It is beautiful, heartbreaking, and ultimately triumphant as it tells of the life and death of Stephen Biko and the newsman who brought his story to the outside world.

(jp) wrote: It had its moments but overall it wasn't one of my favorites. I did enjoy the seeing Astaire in a blue collar role without the top hat and cane. Rogers also looked more cute in her working-girl outfits instead of her classy gowns. Most of the dancing was less couple-y too, which let each shine on their own. Rogers' tap solo wasn't all that, though, but I was impressed by Astaire on the piano. My favorite number was definitely "Putting all my eggs in one basket"; Ginger's dancing and missteps were adorable. The final number, "Let's Face the Music and Dance" was classic Astaire and Rogers and was marginally impressive (i liked when Astaire was trying to get her to dance at first), but it felt too push-pull and jolty. Strange how they weren't even the main romantic couple too.
(au) wrote: Not bad! I have heard of this movie for years and I never took the time to see it. I knew it was hit or miss among fans but I had to see what everyone has been talking about years ago. I'm so glad I watched it. Imagine an Indiana Jones style movie with lots of killer action and of course a beautiful Angelina Jolie! Even reminded me of national treasure with the illuminati references and Laura Croft's nerdy friend who helped with her gadgets. Overall, a very fun, action filled movie.
