The Wing or Thigh? torrent reviews

Jun Y (br) wrote: The worst movie of 2014. Horrible script and made bad actors worse which is hard to do.

Pierluigi P (us) wrote: A magnetic parable that pulverizes the american dream. Burt Lancaster plays a character engulfed by existential grief, trying to reach his own paradise lost. He decides that his burden will end when he swims his way home through every of his neighbors' pools, finding fragments and glimpses of his obscure past.Though a bit dated, it certainly has a huge space of inner meditation and also gives a hard and well-aimed blow to american society the way 'American Beauty' did some decades later. It also anticipated the arrival of 70s cinema and its complex and disenchanting themes. Lancaster's performance stands out, as well as the final scene.

Jonathan C (us) wrote: Another little film I enjoyed from the L.R. Film Festival, this London production has some remarkable acting (particularly Derek Jacobi, in a role that may draw Awards-consideration stateside) and clever ideas (most of which involve Charles Dickens!), that it makes up for its sometimes meandering pace and hard to follow plot.

Jase N (fr) wrote: Fasten your seat bolts and gear up for a hilarious, heartwarming comedy that's "fun for the whole family!" (Clay Smith, Acess Hollywood) With he help of his misfit mechinal friends, a small town robot named Rodney embarks on the adventure of a lifetime as he heads for the big city to pursue his dreams-- and ultimately proves that anyone can shine no matter what they're made of.

Michael K (de) wrote: As far as Alien films go, outside of the humour of the Johner character and the genius of Ron Pearlman playing him, it's largely forgettable!

Ibraheem M (mx) wrote: It starts with a great premise but then turns dreadful; 'Basic Instinct' is a sexy erotic thriller featuring a solid performance from Sharon Stone.

Dann M (us) wrote: Conquest of the Planet of the Ape plays a little fast and loose with the series continuity, but still manages to deliver an exciting and action packed adventure. Roddy McDowall and Ricardo Montalban return and deliver great performances once again. Set in a dystopian future, an ape revolution gives rise to the Planet of the Apes. The script is pretty strong and challenges its audience with questions of predestination and social inequity. For a forth film in a series, Conquest of the Planet of the Apes delivers a remarkably fresh and exciting sci-fi adventure that's as provocative and thrilling as ever.

Zachary M (ag) wrote: When people complain about the found footage genre, this is the kind of movie I think they're thinking of. Terrible production value, even for a found footage movie, boring stories, and unlikeable characters. An anthology horror movie works best when the stories each have their own unique flavor, topic, or monster about them. This whole thing just feels more of the same. Not to mention the wrap around story finishes up before the vignettes. Some of the stories try to have their own flavor, yet when all strung together with such similar flavors, they all start to taste the same. You wouldn't want to get 32 free samples of vanilla when they're are rocky road, birthday cake, and razzle dazzle cherry would you? That's just a waste.
