Kay L (br) wrote: At first I thought this might be more of a comedy doc based on the trailer. Watched after listening to his You Made it Weird podcast episode.

Kwong C (nl) wrote: It's really another world, and this movie takes you there, all the way to NY Queens, but almost not recognizable. Story plot is simple, but it's a great portrait of the characters and environment.

Matt H (ca) wrote: pretty good movie, gives you a few laughs, and keeps you entertained

Jesse F (it) wrote: Fanny Ardant may have here the worst performance by an actress that I personally have ever seen. Imagine Sandra Bullock playing Maria Callas. Imagine it. This has got to be an example of high culture and big names bamboozling gullible opera queens.

Simon S (us) wrote: The One is plagued by indifferent performances, subpar CGI, and a thoroughly unoriginal plot, resulting in a middling sci-fi actioner with little payoff.

Don S (fr) wrote: Everyone screams when they get shot, and practically everyone gets shot (and dies). If you "love the eighties" you'll love this grindhouse gem.

Nick M (jp) wrote: I love art movies-- even ones that border on the disgusting. But the disgust on display here is criminal. And while some folks might claim that this grotesque picture is beautiful ugliness in the name of art, I would have to completely disagree. This is foul and not in a charming way either.

Ben T (br) wrote: Jeepers Creepers is one of those cult horror movies that might not be that good but is still liked. In my opinion Jeepers Creepers is actually a good movie. This is just a really entertaining and to be honest quite fun film. The film stars Justin Long and Gina Philips who are both quite good. They have really good chemistry with each other which is essential for this film. The rest of the acting is all over the place but our leads are really good. This film is quite well directed by Victor Salva, there's a lot of tension in the first half of this film. The scene in the underground of the church is very well directed and quite disturbing and in my opinion while Salva might be a controversial person he still did a good job directing this film. The writing here is pretty good to be honest, the lines at the start are good yet I feel as the film goes on it gets sillier and sillier. There isn't really a lot to say about this film as it's pretty simple. But the second half is what really lets the film down as to be honest the reveal of the Creeper is very silly and underwhelming. Also the second half isn't as good as the first half. However this film has a creepy ending and is quite a well made film. This film is far from perfect and has problems which stops it from being really good. This is a tense, well made and well acted and well directed film that ends up as quite silly and has a dissapointing ending. B
