Directed, starred and co-produced by Robert Redford adapted from a novel written by Neil Gordon which uses a fabricated possibility centering on the protestors who're against the Vietnam war. Sharon Solarz (Susan Sarandon) has just surrendered herself to the FBI since she was a long time fugitive who was one of few violent protestors who participated into a planting of a bomb during her anti-Vietnam demonstrations resulting in a guard killed in the process. Because of her association with other members, a douche reporter Ben Shepard (Shia LaBeouf) managed to expose the real Jim Grant (Robert Redford) as Nick Sloan who was also supposed to be one of the protestors who was also responsible for that guard's death. So he goes on the run attempting to prove him innocent since he already has a 12 year old daughter he have to look after. The cast also includes, Julie Christie, Nick Nolte, Chris Cooper, Terrence Howard, Stanley Tucci, Richard Jenkins, Anna Kendrick, Brendan Gleeson, Brit Marling, and Sam Elliot. Quite surprised that Redford even participated into directing this piece of junk which they're times seemed like a movie lecturing to it's viewers regarding it's anti-Vietnam stance, forcing political views through this film makes the entire experience seemed very cheesy and pointless. It may have worked had this movie been made during the time war when the war with Vietnam actually happened, but not so much after it was long been over. Watched this movie with cringe worthy effect. 1 star out of 4

Perhaps the head net was not a SQUID but some sort of sci-fi tech akin to the Vulcan mind meld but instead it's her queening by stretching her vagina lips to enormous size like giant bat wings to cover the poor man's entire face.

It was the middle of the day and it made me and my friend fall asleep. twice. I suppose for the simple minded it did show bare chested women and for some thats all you need, but this movie was crap. I thought perhaps with the synopsis at redbox this film had a chance. I was wrong.

Langella absolutely crushes this as Nixon as does Martin Sheen as Frost setting up an explosive final act. Along with a stellar supporting cast from the likes of Kevin Bacon and Sam Rockwell, direction by Ron Howard, cinematography and script that are all top notch, this is truly another ace of a film by Howard.
