Andrew E (jp) wrote: Its not to shaby at all once it gets going, and by that I mean when the Death Machine actually turns up. It is full of references to other films and film makers which at times can be rather tacky but I guess its all just abit of fun at the end of the day. The movies true draw is the robot monster. Its a really cool creation and is not CGI! They actually built The Death Machine and its ace! This is a must for fans of silly B-Movie horrors. Its very entertaining.

Orlok W (nl) wrote: Brilliant character drama - a tiny masterpiece even--Sheer Magic That Is Simple, Subtle and Sublime!!

Matt H (ru) wrote: Good performances and direction, but the "story" never really clicks for me. Really, though, Michael Shannon is a pro at acting insane.

Dorianator F (ca) wrote: I don't know what was so good about the movie. I found it very boring. The main male character also annoyed me. He just kept begging for sex for most of the movie. Very annoying.

John P (it) wrote: Deliciously stupid. As dumb as classic spoofs such as Airplane! and the Naked Gun but with a decidedly different feel. It was basically a reason for Weird Al Yankovic to parody things other than just songs; tv shows, movies, commercials, relationships etc. Great silly performances from Michael Richards and Fran Drescher. If you like a good spoof, please don't miss it!
