The Yellow Gloves torrent reviews

Lee M (au) wrote: The film has neither topical immediacy nor any real historical perspective and, burdened with pedantic and predictable flashbacks, it finally leads nowhere interesting at all.

Wilman A (jp) wrote: Bukan film documenter dengan eksekusi terbaik, but still very interesting for me. Cause this is all about Roger Ebert my movie inspirarator. Jadi tahu, watak, sejarah, dan perjuangannya di hari - hari terakhirnya

paul s (kr) wrote: While I found the blurring of reality and imagination thought provoking, and while I admire some of the more mundane humor, I simply could not get behind Max - a charactor who glides through the film as things happen all around him; more of a force that moves the plot along than an actual engaged charactor (fictional or otherwise). The women who drift in and out of Max's vision all do a very nice job supporting the film, especially Barbara Hershey, although I found Pena's performance just too polarized and predictable (hampered by the script, no doubt). What this film tells about ageing is poignant and at the crux, but there's just too much sleight of hand to really make you feel for Max.

Stephen C (ca) wrote: This movie has been done several times before, and better.

Lee M (de) wrote: Between a 6/10 and 7/10, Features plenty of soft-focus, picture-perfect, father-and-son baseball scenes, an enormous amount of plot, and not quite enough of anything else.

Drew B (es) wrote: It's a film overcome with sentimentality and tear-jerking scenes that kind of make this film more depressing for a family film.

Rachael K (ag) wrote: An absolute classic, Dom DeLuise's laughing fit after smoking a joint, should have had a nomination and Ramone's problems with the so-called guard dog are a laugh a minute. Why this hasn't been released on DVD yet is a crime!

Mlissa A (es) wrote: Bon petit film d'action comme on les aime ; avec un bus qui se fait tirer par un h (C)licoptre !Plus : Hugh Jackman en pantalon de cuir ;)

Sandra S (nl) wrote: Deep and very interesting movie. Really moving!

DeAndre W (it) wrote: Only someone the caliber of John Carpenter could pull off a movie about a possessed 58 Plymouth Fury out for blood and a young man's heart, "Christine" is made of pure cheese and enguinity, and 33 years later it still holds up thanks to Carpenter's heavily preferred use of practical effects. "Christine" isn't one of Stephen King's most acclaimed, well known adaptations, but I absolutely fricking adore it, truly a love that stands the test of time.
