Mostly everything is lame in this Movie. Eccept those looks of Lundgren. What schocked me was the last Fight Scene. Holly Crap I was like wtf??? The Fight Scene looked like a rehersel or something. Alert for: All Lundgren fans. There is not much of Lundgren to be seen in this Movie.

Jason R (es) wrote: probably the most entertaining and cliche filled attempt at a sci fi western....and Lash is ultra hot for a gunslinging whip wielding goth dominatrix type. George Takei is fun in this film and it has some laughable writing, and really silly type stuff in it, but it is a lot of fun none the less. The type of movie you munch mindlessly on popcorn late at night when you are in the mood for a sci fi or a western. Both genres can be a lot of fun when done properly. so don't expect anything groundbreaking or philosophical...just good fun and a pretty neat arm mutation scene. It is not one of the best films by any means, but it sure beats that Wil Smith big budget Wild West flop. Has a feel of an old Star Trek mixed with Gunsmoke or Bonanza or something. I enjoy it and watch it every so often.

David C (au) wrote: The title and plot of this film, of a washed up screenwriter ending up teaching in a college in the back of beyond, is a gift for sneering critics, but that is unfair. The screenwriter was never going to win an Oscar, as the plot was predictable (although I thought it was going to take an altogether more sinister turn at one point), the secondary characters were not well drawn (especially the students - and Alison Janney was wasted, as usual), and the balance and chemistry between was not as strong as it might have been. But Marissa Tomei was as winning as ever, and Grant has lost none of his ability to deliver a good line with seeming lazy ease. I'm glad I didn't pay to see it at the cinema, but it was a good find on Netflix on a cold wet night.
