Logan T (es) wrote: I don't even know when this comes out, but it will be awesome because it's a Martin Scorsese movie.

Grant H (de) wrote: Very good movie. Very funny, pretty warm-hearted, with a great performance from Wayans.

Tim W (jp) wrote: Dumber and worse than the first. But wow it got much darker, that was pretty memorable from childhood. Stupid 80's charming guilty pleasure.

Ethan P (it) wrote: I didn't appreciate Caddyshack the first time I watched it. This time I did. I think the film is amusing because it's ironic. The country club setting and wealthy characters create a classy, refined visual, but the story is driven by a dirty and juvenile energy. The caddies and the lead actors demonstrate with their own silliness how silly the elites' pretentious lifestyles are. The plot is almost non-existent and the three comedic leads barely interact with each other throughout the entire film, but the film is still undeniably entertaining somehow. Bill Murray's sequences are inane and hilarious, Chevy Chase is subtly clever and smooth and Rodney Dangerfield is obnoxious and obscene. These three mainly separate acts combine to create a something powerful, both comically and thematically. They all in their own way are a rejection of wealth and aristocracy, which makes it all the more interesting that they triumph over wealth at the end and the golf course, a breeding ground for the wealthy and entitled, is blown up.

Marc R (nl) wrote: A surprisingly dense, well acted, and intelligent work w/ distinct direction by Bennet Miller and interesting and artful editing and photography. All of which combines to turn what should have been a by-the-numbers sports movie into one of the best films of 2011. You'll like this movie even if you don't like baseball, for baseball merely acts as an entry-point into ideas about how we interact w/ and exploit each-other. But the film is also about moving forward, and redemption, the type that is rarely offered to people.

John A (ag) wrote: This is an under-appreciated horror gem. The acting and dialogue leaves something to be desired from time to time, but overall good scares and cringe worthy violence. Horror fans should not miss this one.

Jane S (ag) wrote: Not really clear what the point is, and that's not always a bad thing, but in this case it's just too muddy.
