It also enhances a lot of the negative stereotypes that people have about gay people, with the partying, the drugs, and the promiscuity. Some of the people seemed like they were saying we should accept these things and that to call them repugnant and immature is being homophobic, but that behavior isn't exclusive to gays, and I find it repugnant regardless of who you're f***ing. But that's only a part of what this movies about, and it doesn't advocate it, it just shows it.However, the rest of the movie is damn near perfect. It's really not about the sexual aspects of gay culture, it's about the discrimination, and the community that is developed from it. It's sometimes heartwarming, and other times heartbreaking, and it's beautifully filmed. It's an interesting look at something I knew little about, and while it could use a little cleaning up, it's still a wonderful piece worth checking out.
