Sarah H (ag) wrote: Seems a little more realistic than How Stella Got Her Groove Back, and that's kinda funny considering the fact that this one doesn't claim to be based off a true story...maybe the guy is straight in this one then? Not too bad, but it really didn't have a whole lot of zingers in their either. I did like the girlfriend telling the dad off about his son, that was actually pretty funny.

Gareth D (kr) wrote: very interesting and well-made, this is the first one in the series i've seen and somehow the subjects are mostly intriguing, especially seeing them grow up and how they evolve

Everett W (es) wrote: Not many folk will defend this film but I am going to. Far from an Alien rip off this plays more like an acid fuelled British B-Movie Horror mash up of ET, Flight of the Navigator and Puppet Master (the latter two of the three came after this) It's a strange film but never dull, has a fun little soundtrack and doesn't outstay it's welcome. Tacky fun.

Andrew P (de) wrote: Decent horror revenge flick. Good performances by Viggo and Lane Smith. Kind of weird seeing Tony "Tiny" Lister in a role where he's not the bad guy, but actually decent...for a convict. Interesting visuals too. Worth a rent.

Charles P (au) wrote: Barb Wire is so close to being a trashy sort of guilty pleasure, but the camp quality is too low and Pamela Anderson, though sexy as ever, never finds the right human or comic note.
