Thir13en Ghosts

Thir13en Ghosts

Arthur and his two children, Kathy and Bobby, inherit his Uncle Cyrus's estate: a glass house that serves as a prison to 12 ghosts. When the family, accompanied by Bobby's Nanny and an attorney, enter the house they find themselves trapped inside an evil machine "designed by the devil and powered by the dead" to open the Eye of Hell. Aided by Dennis, a ghost hunter, and his rival Kalina, a ghost rights activist out to set the ghosts free, the group must do what they can to get out of the house alive.

When Cyrus Kriticos, a very rich collector of unique things dies, he leaves it all to his nephew and his family. All including his house, his fortune, and his malicious collection of ghosts! . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Alan V (ru) wrote: Occasionally very funny.

Craig W (it) wrote: I cant recall the first but I am sure that featured an actual supernatural entity and not a guy in a mask killing people! The deaths were pretty gory though I thought so kudos to that.

Ed K (us) wrote: Most of the writing was pretty thoughtful even if huge chunks of the story were still inane. Entertaining on the whole.

Mara A (jp) wrote: It's bizarre, hilarious and a good depiction of the 90's.

Anna S (ru) wrote: Ava Gardner keeps this movie together. Her dialogues are sharp and witty (as usual); she gulps 'em down, one after another, and chain smokes 'em, one after another (as usual); and thanks to that characteristic vibe she gives off in pretty much all her movies (that "Honey, I've been around. I've seen PLENTY. You don't fool me." vibe) you even believe she and Gable (who's about 25 years too old for the part) have something in common, namely, they've both been around the block and back a thousand times and they don't have illusions about life in general. Unlike the naive what's-her-name, played by Grace Kelly, Gardner's heroine knows Gable's game and she's not about to be had... which is why the last scene is a pity.

Aki P (it) wrote: Epic drama showing how the rogues of west got their wealth and moved it to big bugs New York, not forgetting female trouble. Still greatly entertaining.

Nikki D (fr) wrote: A slow burn of a film, visually unique and some subtle performances. Enjoyed it.

Patrice T (jp) wrote: Very good movie - a story within a story. Great acting. Poignant.
