Gregory F (nl) wrote: Bryan Cranston stars as real life career undercover US Customs agent Robert Mazur, who penetrated and dismembered Pablo Escobar's money laundering network in the 1980's. The Infiltrator is fine. It'll pass the time if you're on a plane, but it doesn't bring anything to the undercover cop narrative that you haven't seen before in better movies. Don't get me wrong, of course Cranston does a good job playing a down to Earth family man playing an extravagant criminal, but the operation in real life was probably a lot more impressive than this movie. Why has it been so hard to make a great Pablo Escobar movie? By all accounts he was one of the most fascinating kingpins of the 20th century, but I count this as the third recent whiff. Maybe the Vinny Chase as Pablo Escobar season from Entourage (see below) ruined it forever. Although some swear by Narcos I guess. Maybe I should give it another shot (is the blond cop done over-explaining everything?).

Nate T (fr) wrote: Another "gangster" classic benefits from the pre-production code standards and good direction. Not to mention a capable cast.

Andy P (kr) wrote: The screenplay is as natural, witty and full of idealism as it was in the original and the beguiling chemistry the leads shared still remains, though this time the romanticism comes with a sense of poignant regret as we learn what's become of them since their chance meeting in Vienna. Enthralling, intimate and terrifically performance, Before Sunset is a perfect companion to it's predecessor in the sense that it offers just as engaging, cinematic and relatable a snapshot of life.

Zoran S (ru) wrote: Great but overly-long. It's not much as an anti-fascist statement but it's fantastic filmmaking with beautiful cinematography.

Brooke S (ru) wrote: Really really boring. So-so animation, lazy script, and despite the potential for lots of great comedy moments, there aren't that many jokes or gags. It struck me as odd that they wouldn't make the giant woman the largest of the monsters... Good cast, but waste of talent.

Jesse F (kr) wrote: The two who steal the whole movie is Nathan Lane as Snowbell and Steve Zahn as Monty. Their hilarious presences in the film make for an enjoyable kids film.
