Jacob B (nl) wrote: Although it had too much sexual dialogue, it got funny as it went on, and it was sort of a good way to end the show. But it isn't a movie to watch near your parents. See it if you are a fan of Drawn Together.
Michael S (ru) wrote: A good, fun movie, but drowning in fan service. This new Star Trek universe is great, why waste a film on a Wrath of Khan remake?
James M (ru) wrote: Warning - watch this film and be prepared for an onslaught of drum and bass that will likely give you a headache you cant shift for days! Its a modern day version of the Warriors, though focusing on a message of revenge more than of them getting home and personally, I still preferred it to the warriors, but only margainly. It missed the boat with its ideas so many times, tonally all over the place and with ridiculous mid story (I want to call them) dance-offs? Still some good ideas, the setting and the banter were quite realistic for modern audiences, as long as you can understand modern street talk, fam. Also thought it could have turned up the violence a bit (and turned down the music!). I liked the animated fight sequence but the computer generated one was totally out of place and badly done. Id find it hard to recommend to anyone unfortunately, it has its merits but too many negatives to make it worthwhile.

Sanna L (mx) wrote: Not bad but not great either. Especially good acting by the german side of the story. The German crew came across as men with their own worries and families, not just Nazis which so of the is the case in WW2 movies. The sub-plot of the wife (played by Lauren Holly) waiting at home was totally irrelevant and could've been left on the cutting-room floor without anyone noticing.
Holly F (kr) wrote: It left much to be desired. Scientist discovered dragon egg and used it genetically to create more. However things go wrong in the lab as the dragon hatched. The screen splits irritably into 2-3's showing few diferent scenes at a time. A bit cheesy and dumb but could have been made better and the acting is laughable.
Jim S (nl) wrote: In retrospect, not a bad choice to watch around VE day to add to the natural British news items on remembrance for the armed services and civilians at home. What would you do in their place? I hope it is impossible to imagine what you would do. What we've got here is a holocaust movie, of course, which reminds me of the utter horror, but does not conjour it up. Perhaps that's ok. The horror cannot and perhaps should not be evoked for entertainment, which is what a movie is, after all. But if you want to try to evoke an emptional response in yourself or to study the holocaust more academically, then I think this is a perfectly fine movie to accompany those activities. It provides some pictures and some depiction aspects of imagined images and events. As a stand-alone drama, I didn't really understand it, or the flow of plot.
Jamie C (ag) wrote: A good game to film adaption, Some good action scenes Jolie plays the part of Lara brilliant, She was made for the part, Story and acting were under par but who goes to a film like this for the acting, Overall one of the best films to come from a game.

Jacob B (au) wrote: Though Night at the Museum may not quite make the most out of its admittedly interesting premise, the performances of its cast with Robin Williams and an uncredited Owen Wilson managing to steal the show during their screen time and its charm as it focuses on a father wanting to be a hero in his son's eyes help elevate the film above its occasionally cheesy humour.
Craig T (au) wrote: A cinematic gem. Not only is it a terrific little film, it contains what is arguably one of the finest screen performances I've ever seen. Holbrook is masterful. I don't begrudge Jeff Bridges his Oscar, but believe if this film had been as widely seen as his, he might have minimally needed to share the honors with Holbrook. See it. Please.
