Tauqir A (ag) wrote: It's an exciting experience when a Bollywood movie entertains you without a single song and dance sequence. Kahaani falls into that category. A well made thriller with a believable screenplay and without any HiFi Hollywoodish Gadgets and exaggerated action sequence. Credit should go to the Director and the Cameraman for creating such an ambience for the story-line. Kolkata has been has been captured in the same light as Slumdog Millionaire captured Mumbai. The not so bright side. And it makes an impact. The director takes the liberty of 'absence of any superstar' to create solid characters. One of the most interesting is the character of the contract killer. You will like him.Credit should also go to Vidya Balan for making everyone notice that actresses in Bollywood can have more to do than just be a romantic link to super powerful Hero and observe Karwa Chauth for that superhero. Back to Back superb performances. Paa, Ishikiya,No One Killed Jessica, The Dirty Picture and now Kahaani. A female Aamir Khan in making. One of the very taut thriller in long time from Bollywood. Realistic, Original and never goes over the top. The investigation unfolds in the way our good old Byomkesh Bakshi would have done it. And suspense is successfully maintained till the end.Not to be Missed !!

Facebook U (it) wrote: Quite boring. We knew already that the english empire was not above all kinds of abuses. So learning that children were used and abused to help its invasions was not too surprising. Maybe a bit shocking that they declared parents dead and children were sold, to further their invasions. But really, do the englishes have it so hard? If they do, they sure make everybody else pay real good. As it should. It's the english way.

Murder C (de) wrote: Guest House Paradiso is the worst hotel in the entire country (if not the world). The hotel is located right next to a nuclear plant and the two staff members Richard (Rik Mayall) and Eddie (Adrian Edmondson) are two complete idiots and take any chance they get to steal their guests things. As a spin-off of the TV series "Bottom", "Guest House Paradiso" is a non-stop slapstick comedy to the max from beginning to end. And while I do enjoy some slapstick comedies, "Guest House Paradiso" is just not that funny. Also the film is really rude and cruel, something I normally don't complain about. Only worth watching if you are a serious fan of slapstick.

Remi L (mx) wrote: It was interesting to see Bruno from Royal Pains (Campbell Scott) in the role of a bitter paper pusher who gets dumped by his boss and takes to mentoring his nephew (Jesse Eisenberg) in the art of racking up notches in his belt. Eisenberg was absolutely adorable! He had to be the best thing about this film. Scott's character's pontifications (before getting dumped) were pretty fascinating, if not possibly one-sided to gas up potential prospects. It was funny how quickly he switched gears once he was back on the market.
