Clay P (fr) wrote: From the start it was like a second rate version of the first. It slowly crept into the freaky stuff like before, and then ended with less flair than the original. Although it makes a good stand alone film, the "jump" scares were just not as plentiful as before.

Amy B (br) wrote: On Wednesdays we wear pink! I remember seeing this in the theater while in college when it first came out. I remember thinking it was a lot better than a typical teen movie and it's still funny today. After all, it is a satirical comedy written by Tina Fey. This movie is a great example of not judging a book by its cover. I still encounter people now and then that haven't seen it, but assume it's stupid just because of the name, description and what they assume it must be. A coworker started talking about how stupid it was a few weeks ago and making very judgemental comments and then revealed she had never actually seen it. If that's still you, put your pride, preconceived notions and "principles" aside and just watch it. You may end up liking it, but at the very least, it probably won't be what you were expecting.Even more people I know still quote this movie at random. "Would you like us to assign someone to butter your muffin?"

Phil P (br) wrote: Whew! Glad I saw this. More often than not I don't care for military-related films much, but this was great. Great story, really great acting. The battles within the individual characters turn out to be much more huge than the global war. I always love a good-guy vs bad-guy story that ends up with the two sides each being both good and bad.

Sylvester K (mx) wrote: The camera work made me wanna shoot myself.. Average acting for a low budget film and average plot. But they could have spent a bit more money on hiring a proper camera man and that would have improve the film significantly. Not recommended to view unless you can withstand the experience of Blair Witch Project (Even Blair Witch Project has better camera work than this)

Rory Fyfe S (br) wrote: I liked this movie. Good story. Kept my attention.

Scott W (br) wrote: It looks fantastic, the sets are a wonderful collection of higgledy-piggledy German expressionism. The real let down was the silly looking Golem and his shopping trip, complete with basket, is hilarious.

Adam R (ru) wrote: One of those movies that I wanted to like more than I actually did. It is not as engaging as you would hope. The one highlight that you will remember is the title song by Lulu, which is quite lovely. (First and only viewing - 3/11/2010)

Darrin C (jp) wrote: A little less interesting than the prequel which is unusual. Otherwise, it was more of the same, but less.
