Shiela E (jp) wrote: as usual, WOODY WAS THE BEST PART OF THIS MOVIE. I liked his character's philosophy here. Jason Biggs was a bit of a wimp, and I would have seen through that flighty, self-involved, shallow bitch he was in "love" with immediately. typical woody woman though. why do his characters always fall for the train wrecks?

However, a woman (Travis) attempting to escape a psychopathic murderer (Belushi) ends up accidentally sent back to the beginnig of her ordeal. Will she be able to stop the killing spree before it begins, or will she only make the nightmare worse... again and again and again. I like time travel stories, and I enjoyed this one quite a bit. The actors all gave great performances, the stunts were well executed, and the film was as logical as one can expect a time travel movie to be. (There was one plot point that I didn't quite get... and it's one I can't even talk about without ruining a minor twist in the film. It doesn't really ruin the film, but it had me saying "Huh?" when it occured.) "Retroactive" is a tense, action-packed ride, and I think lovers of action movies and time-travel yarns both will enjoy it.
