The stooges are castaways from a garbage scow who land on Dead Man's Island where everyone is living in olden times. To escape from the governor, they disguise Curly as a Maharaja and win permission to journey to their own country to fetch presents. The governor is fooled, but the boys run into more trouble in the den of Black Louie the pirate where Curly is forced into a knife throwing contest with Larry as the target. Things look bad until a mis-thrown knife cuts the rope that holds the chandelier and it crashes down on Black Louie's men. With the pirates defeated, Moe decides to take over as ruler of the island.

Jasrick J (es) wrote: Angie (deepika) and Roselyn (dimple) are two widows living at a quiet place called Pokkolim in Goa. Things change when the local postmaster Ferdie (naseeruddin) gets a returned proposal from Stefanie Fernandez, after 46 years. Angie decides to help the distressed Ferdie and to locate the missing Fanny (Anjali). The group is joined by Savio (arjun), Angie's ex, a car owner Don Pedro (pankaj) who has a strong desire towards Roselyn. What happens after that forms the rest. The director has come up with an unusual storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was quirky and engaging. The dialogues were witty and well written. The script was good and the screenplay made even better. The background score was melodious and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was magnificent and impressive. Editing was good. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was apt. Deepika Padukone looks very beautiful and she has merged herself into the role very well. Dimple Kapadia looks dazzling. Arjun Kapoor was first rate, Naseeruddin Shah was excellent, Pankaj Kapur was the best among the lot, he was simply mindblowing. Anjali Patil was brief. Others didn't get much scope. The film comes across like a breath of fresh air amidst the flood of racy commercial entertainers but then, it is also a subject that will appeal only to the thinking audience who seek intelligent entertainment . The first half goes on a lighter note with elements of comedy, some romance and also some bold scenes. The interval bang was good and the second half again has comic moments, but this where the films soul lies, that humans die love does not. Overall I enjoyed the film, it well acted, its quirky and funny, but the main strength is in the films soul. A highly recommend watch, because in bollywood films like these are not made every day.

Jennifer P (nl) wrote: I don't know where these people live, but it was beatiful. Every shot was a little TOO perfect! The blue skies, green grass, rolling white clouds... They could have just played the good music and showed the pristine scenery for the hour and a half and I'd have been a happy camper! However, the movie was actually pretty good, although sad and depressing. I enjoyed it.

Candace (br) wrote: I so love this movie! I could watch it every day. Every character is very relatable to either myself or someone I know. Haven't seen it in a long time, so need to find it on DVD! I want to watch it with my daughter and see if she loves it as much as I do!

John C (jp) wrote: its not a bad football movie. I love the fact that it whos the football players in not a good light. Its shows their flaws and the football sequences are very good. The acting especially by Nick Nolte when he realizes he is getting fired at the end of the movie is heartbreaking. The script is all right. There are some bad dialogue and the music ruins the film quite a bit. worth watching even if your not a fan of the sport

Walter M (au) wrote: Okay, guys, you know the drill. But just a reminder... King Claudius(Patrick Stewart) tells his new stepson, Prince Hamlet(David Tennant), to lighten up because death comes to all, including his father, so enjoy life. This might seem a little harsh but Claudius has bigger things on his mind like Fortinbras rattling sabres in nearby Norway. To be honest, Hamlet is definitely taken aback at his mother Gertrude(Penny Downie) remarrying only a month after her husband's death. Well, he's not the only one concerned because Hamlet's friend Horatio(Peter De Jersey) summmons him to have a quick word with his father's ghost(Patrick Stewart) who says there was nothing at all natural in his death. This is a compelling version of "Hamlet" set in the modern day, almost totally indoors in a stately palace. So, while cameras are commonplace along with the occasional handgun, there is also a sense of decay in the royal household. Adding to the sense of disconnect is David Tennant's performance as perhaps the loosest Hamlet I have seen, with the character's brattiness contrasting well with such a disapproving father. Casting Patrick Stewart in the double role is a nice touch, which he handles with distinction.

Collin R (br) wrote: has a fantastic message and is very sweet not the best acting and is a little far fetched at points but overall a sweet movie
