Vishal P (ca) wrote: This was the WORST movie i ever saw in my life. the characters sucked and everybody was annoying as crap. i had to stop watching because i couldn't bear it anymore. i'd rather gouge my eyes and dangle 20 feet in the air than watch this horribly written+directed+acted shit excuse for a NETFLIX movie.

Carl M (fr) wrote: A giant reptilian monster threatens Japan after group of crazed scientists unleash nuclear devastation over the land, and it is up to the kappa of ancient legend to save the world in DEATH KAPPA! Rather than paying homage to the classic Kaiju era in a reverent satire, DEATH KAPPA reduces itself to an idiotic spoof that is continually brought down by its sophomoric screenplay and dulled sense of humor. Director Tomo'o Haraguchi intentionally reveals the wires carrying the model planes, the false backdrops, and the cheapness of his scale miniatures for laughs, but each weakened attempt to poke fun at the genre falls flat due to the poor production quality and complete lack of wit. The horrendous costume designs for the two leading monsters do nothing to help, either. What we are left with is a muddled, disjointed mess of a film that is an embarrassment to Kaiju fans everywhere.

Cam E (fr) wrote: Daddy Day Care was funny and decent. But this sequel looks dreadful. Why even make a sequel?

Jacob G (ru) wrote: This is the worst movie ever made it is terrible billy Madison is the most annoying unlikeable character and I hate him I LOATHE this movie

Christopher P (br) wrote: It's as if they wanted to make a snuff film version of "Swiss Family Robinson"

Bill B (us) wrote: This was something I had on the shelf for a revisit for ever and finally decided to get off the To-Watch Pile once and for all. I enjoy the original Michael Caine version quite a bit, but the Jude Law as cocksman wastrel skating by on his looks routine is also very interesting, as it's well shot and features the always delightful Nia Long as one of the women in his life.Well worth a look if you get the chance.

Steve J (de) wrote: One of the most fantastic things I've ever seen!

Ross R (gb) wrote: I'm used to David Lean's sprawling epics, but this film (with only one or two sets) still has his stamp of excellence. A fun ghost story with some great special effects for its time.
