Rabeea (au) wrote: I would've given this movie a 0 if she had kissed him or left her husband for him. Good thing she didn't because she had to realize that she needs to wake up and live her old life. Dream's over honey. Amazing movie.

PURPLE J (ca) wrote: this is the best bring it on by far. great cast and it has some good laughs in it. 4stars because kristen and gabrielle little school girl rivalry is funny.

Brandon W (jp) wrote: Billy Madison is Adam Sandler's first movie as a writer with SNL writer Tim Herlihy that turned out to be a decent film that is a bit forgettable. Adam Sandler's voice that he does is not annoying, but I can understand why people would think that. The plot is predictable and you seen this a million times, but at least this movie actually has a plot unlike Adam Sandler's recent films like Grown Ups with an exception of some films that he's done. 70% of the film has funny jokes, while the remaining percent of it has awkward jokes, or just too weird for me to find it funny. The acting is fine, and so is the chemistry between Billy Madison and Veronica, even though I've seen this type of chemistry before and they don't do anything funny with it. Billy Madison is a harmless comedy with enough fun and sweet moments that is not as bad as a movie that I watched after this which is Grown Ups 2.

Amy H (gb) wrote: When I saw the tomatometer was 0%, I thought, "Hmm... I guess nobody has reviewed it." Sadly, I was wrong. It's just that bad. Not only is what the critics say true (a long, predictable sermon), but if you are a Christian, the theology is awful. Things like, "God has blessed me with my millions of dollars [that I got from my past dealing drugs]" and "if I pray hard enough, everything I want will come true" were sadly the main messages. I am surprised and disappointed with Toby Mac for coming on board with this project and being ok to sign off on it. Love him, and I'm disappointed for him that his name is on it, as an attempt to get other youth directors to take their youth. Fortunately, I have a rule to preview all movies before my youth see them, otherwise I would have spent an entire lesson correcting the mixed messages sent throughout.
