Corey n (jp) wrote: This is a great documentry on the history of the comic character Superman. The documentry follows the history of Superman from his early beginnings up to the movie Superman Returns. Some of the history I already knew and some info was new to me. You get interviews from many people who had some hand in the comics, television shows and movies. To bad George Reeve and Christopher Reeve were not alive to give their take on the overall history. But their contributions to the Superman history is never forgotten. Overall is is a fun watch as a fan of Superman. A must see for fans of Superman.

She meets prejudice, xenophobia, and religious intolerance. Equally courageous is her taciturn, hard-working, and horny prospective husband. Told as a remembrance of her grandson who is faced with selling their farm after her death. Beautiful, haunting photography adds greatly to the tone. Quirky minor characters, some of whom grow and some who don't. Terrific acting, particularly by Elizabeth Reaser and Tim Guinee as the couple and John Heard and Alex Kingston in support.

Alex M (au) wrote: A classic that'll never die. Full of smart comedy, great performances, awesome directing (as always), and incredible effects that still look great today.

Deborah K (kr) wrote: I think the reason this movie is so highly rated by critics is mostly that very few critics rated it. It is basically propaganda. One of the worst movies I have ever watched.
