Lou S (nl) wrote: It's a new sub-genre, mumble-bore. It is the least interesting movie I have ever seen.

Chiqui E (au) wrote: Didn't get to watch the remake this movie was made after (Cellular; starring Kim Basinger, Jason Statham, William H. Macy & Chris Evans). I mean just reading these cast already made me wonder how much a better job they did... Guess we'll just see.Barbie Hsu's acting needs to be up a few more notches though cos just watching Kim's work from the movie's trailer was enough to say there's no need for any notes comparing.Loved what they did for the credits though.

John J (ca) wrote: niiiiiiiiice. Saw it at a late night screening @ Alamo Drafthouse, and laughed the whole way through. Some great (read: terrible) dialogue. Some great (read: equally terrible) acting. A real gem of a bad horror flick!! Oh! This dead body got shoved out of this room at me! I think i'll continue to walk inside in the dark when obviously someone sinister has to be JUST inside to have PUSHED that body at me!

Rohit R (gb) wrote: The sudden turn the film's narrative and mood takes profoundly overwhelms you. Not really a mass entertainer. But, for those interested in exotic and quiet style of world cinema where subtlety and expressions tell a greater tale than grandiose and verbose don't give this movie a miss.

Rob T (de) wrote: I love the concept of a 'ghost ship' picture but nobody seems to be competent enough to actually put it togther (lets face it; there's been some right drivel over the years). That said, DEATH SHIP~! is my favourite worst film ever. DS is so bad, it is actually really compelling and makes me dig it soooo much, I push and promote to anyone that will listen.

Scott M (mx) wrote: Soft core porn. I've seen worse. Its mediocre and dumb, but the women are hot.

Lindsay B (ca) wrote: Mia Farrow, is the cutest, reddest and pixiest love ever. Dustin Hoffman, well not as good as The Graduate, but nice. I enjoyed how they let you in on their thoughts.

Radek C (au) wrote: A very down-to-earth love story - what else could it be, given the time frame and the political background? Nothing thrilling really, just practical images, slightly amusing at times (the roller blind scene or old couple's bickering), but nothing truly original.

Bob W (de) wrote: Definitely 50's campy sexist Mystery Science Theater fare. The awful special effects, contrived excuse for a plot, and cliched Venusian space babes in high heels desperate for men from earth, along with who else but Zsa Zsa Gabor seals the deal as one of the worst sci-fi films ever.
