(ru) wrote: A masterpiece... Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone give brilliant performances. Outstanding musical score and songs. An amazing film experience!

(nl) wrote: Those looking for something like Andromeda Strain will be sorely disappointed, but the film's loving view of humanity as a whole and the very flawed characters in the film is touching, sometimes funny, and very powerful emotionally. This film is poetry. Some have called it bleak - for me it was just the opposite. By the end I felt happy and grateful. Forget the scores above - just see it.

(kr) wrote: A wonderful journey into the confused teenage psyche. Expertly crafted to feel like a Cinema Verite documentary, the realistic dialogue makes it completely believable. Subtle yet superb performances make the audience feel almost everything the young cast do, especially the loneliness and awkwardness of being a teenage! Mumblecore at it's beautiful best!

(kr) wrote: It wasn't bad. It was quite funny throughout; not hilarious, but funny enough. My main problem was too much Goldie Hawn and not enough Chevy Chase. This is not just because Hawn is extremely ugly and Chase is not, but it focused too much on her character and her husband rather than what Chase was doing, which I think would've been more interesting. Chase is also funnier than the others, so I didn't get many, if any, laughs from scenes he wasn't in.
(it) wrote: absolute classic film!!!! Feroz khan's best film till date just untouchable. Zeenat aman at her sexy sizzling best, Vinod khanna dazzling as ever and Amjad khan is awesome as the police inspector. Ground breaking music by biddu introducing the late Nazia Hassan with aap jaisa koi. An all-time classic film with everything to boast comedy, action, drama, romance and songs. This film can match Sholay any day.
(ru) wrote: Rather enjoyable. the design of locations and characters are well done. Also the soundtrack, although uncommon for a fantasy film, doesn't feel out of place. My only complaints are that some of the voice acting isn't great at times and the ending leaves you a bit unfulfilled.

(ag) wrote: Wanted to like this, but it just felt like a real nothing movie. I didn't buy the attraction between the pair, which I guess is a major problem for this genre. I didn't really care if they got together or not. To me, they were both cheaters anyhow, so can't have been too madly in love.
(br) wrote: Kind of reminded me of Zombieland (hence the title Stake Land probably). But our protagonists are against a world of vampiric zombie demons that they refer to as vampires and a religious cult. It starts out solid, then slows the pace to a halt, and picks back up some after we're already a bit bored.
