Timeless Bottomless Bad Movie

A compilation of episodes from the lives of several of the amateur actors' (who are 'bad teens' and the homeless of Seoul) own experiences, this film sheds light on the dark side of Korean society. Feeling alienated and persecuted, they wonder about and come into conflict with the 'good people' who persist in trying to reform them. They have their own reason for remaining as they are and resist attempts to reform them: they cannot change simply because they are bad.

Robert B (au) wrote: Delicatessen is a very visually stimulating film. Despite the impression that the description creates, the film is about as much a horror movie as Army of Darkness is. Rather I would say the film is a fiendish and surreal comedy. Whether you enjoy the film or not will largely come down to taste. The acting and filmmaking are good enough to at least warrant a view so you can see for yourself.

Joseph B (us) wrote: The second film adaptation of William Golding's 1954 novel "Lord of the Flies" finds Harry Hook directing. Like the 1963 film, Lewis M. Allen produces. It has the same basic story of the 1963 film and novel, but focuses more on the children's attempt to create a society free of parents and girls. There is more of a rivalry between Ralph and Jack then in the original. Ralph seems more levelheaded than Jack, who just wants to hunt and have fun. Not a great adaptation, but perhaps worth a viewing on it's own accord.
