Sunay S (jp) wrote: once again a controversial and offbeat topic fails to reach out to audiences because 91% of people are not interested as i am writing this. this movie is not silly and bachchan goes to explain its purpose beautifully throughout the movie talking to you directly. he acts out his restraint wonderfully. jia khan is not even remotely intimidated to act as a free spirit in front of a mega star and acting for a bigtime director. he resemble to madhuri is uncanny and lets hope her career resembles that of madhuri's just as much.

Bill T (mx) wrote: Good entry in the Drummond series, though not a lot totally is relevant. The Africa in the title is rarely mentioned (except it can be reached in a hop skip and a jump by seaplane apparently). Drummond is after an old nemesis who has captured his boss Colonel Nielsen and taken him to Africa. A couple of new people come in to replace some old roles It's all JUST ok.

Jack Y (au) wrote: Where Ipcress was dark, Billion Dollar Brain is surreal. There is less characterization, despite excellent actors in the form of Caine and Malden. The Finnish locations give it a different, more exotic feel, but the megalomaniac Begleywho obviously enjoys hamming it upmakes this more Bond territory than the original lms anti-Bond stance. Develops reasonably well (even by 2008 standards), with the computer centre quite impressive for 1967, but someone may have been smoking too much dope during the surreal nal.
