Adam K (nl) wrote: Fairly lacklustre rom com about a middle aged businessman who is forced to re-evaluate his life when his lifelong business partner goes AWOL. Dull!

To view Anonymous as being one thing is wrong: their motives can be viewed as idealistic and from a time of innocence. Nothing wrong with that. In this day and age we need that to balance out corruption and the power of organizations bigger than us. I'm glad I watched this. It was eye opening and informative.

Barry L (de) wrote: As an antiwar film this fails miserably but I can tell you one thing...I wouldnt fancy being up there in one of those planes for as long as they were....nasty. Good perfomances from Stewart as usual.

Jeff B (ru) wrote: Well, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. This allegedly was supposed to be a comedy. Unfortunately, when you think of wars in the Middle East, or any war for that matter, tough to find humor in it. The film also lacked a good story line. OK, here's a reporter who wants to grow by getting out from behind the desk, but once she gets there it's really more about random events than any continuous, played out story. And yes, there's the romance element, if you will, but that was a minor side bar to the larger story. Finally, there's the title. What is the significance of WTF? (Whiskey Tango Foxtrot). The film had it's moments, but for me, any film about war in the Middle East is often fraught with blood, chaos, and mayhem and are often tough to watch. Using such an environment for a comedy is a tough sell.
